Join FutureGov and Measurement Camp for a session exploring social media measurement.

Social technology is rapidly becoming recognised as the most effective way to engage with citizens, as well as a key tool for internal communication but there are still some sceptics.  From concerns about costs to worries about digital inclusion the case for public sector use of the web is far from won.

This session will bring together examples of organisations that have tried (with varying success) to measure the impact of social media.  There will also be a strong practical element, in which you can bring any projects you’re currently running or thinking of running and work with other attendees in an open space format to figure out an approach to measurement.

Whether you’re trying to introduce social technology to your organisation, you’re all over the web, or a steadfast sceptic, this session will inspire you with ideas for action.
